Since 1924 Tikkun Olam has been an Core Value for AZA and BBG. In honor of 100 years of BBYO teens serving the world, we will rally to complete 100,000 hours of service starting in August 2023, culminating at J-Serve 2024. Every Jewish teen is invited to participate in their community's tikkun efforts. This is the perfect year to double down on your Chapter's Stand UP cause and commit to ongoing service efforts.

To launch our Centennial Campaign of 100,000 hours for our 100 years, the August Executive Body put together 300 backpacks to be donated to 40 schools across the Omaha area. Through BBYO’s partnership with Repair the World, Executives filled backpacks full of school supplies for students for the upcoming school year. Every backpack was donated to the local Omaha organization, Collective for Youth. Collective for Youth offers after-school programming to students in Omaha public schools, coordinating with school districts to provide quality programming and save families time and money.

Mexico Chapters, went to make candles for Shabbat with "Kadima" which is an organization focused on equality for the disabled. It was an amazing and fun experience that helped the chapter reach out to a community in need. It was a way of combining Judaism with service work which created a meaningful learning experience.
