The Jewish deli is a vibrant, living archive of the American Jewish experience; a place where past meets present, where tradition meets innovation, where each individual, irrespective of their background, is invited to have warm conversations, forge connections, and experience the simple joy of sharing a meal together.
The history of AZA and BBYO has always lived at the intersection of tradition and innovation. It’s always been a meeting ground for friendship, conversation, and, of course, reasons to eat good food together. As AZA celebrates its 100th year, you are invited to join our family back to the deli table. Reunite with friends, make new connections, reminisce and outline visions for the future, and share a little wisdom you've earned and learned over the years.
This project is about creating intergenerational conversations between Alephs around the impact of AZA, the pressures and privileges of manhood, and the power of community.
The Deli Project is coming soon to a city near you. Email 100@bbyo.org if you want to learn more.
